Well done is better than well said

Hi ,
I am a book worm. Recently, I read a book on self motivation and I came across a beautiful phrase which sounds like this, `Well done is better than well said`. Many of us may interprete this phrase in general way which sounds as action is better than say.
The meaning will carry more weight if deep analyse is done on the above phrase. Let me link it with our Hindraf`s Divine Struggle. Our struggle needs meaningful , effective actions which should basicly come from well said plans. Plans may vary according to the situations and circumstances at present and for future. These plans should be regarded as basicly from well said thoughts and opinions. I guess this is the main reason for the existence of this great website .......www.hindraf. org .

Amnesty International Investigation Condemns Malaysia for Detention of Hindraf Leaders

Malaysia: Internal Security Act used to punish human rights activists
4 September 2008
New information about the arbitrary detention of five Malaysian government critics obtained by Amnesty International researchers highlights the need for the Malaysian parliament to immediately abolish the country's Internal Security Act, Amnesty International said today.
A recent Amnesty International mission to Malaysia researching the human rights situation there established that the sole reason for the detention of five members of Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF), a group dedicated to defending the rights of Malaysia's ethnic South Asians, was for expressing concerns about the marginalization of ethnic South Asians within Malaysian society and specifically for organizing rallies.

MARGEEMAR THE SCRIBE WAS RIGHT ABOUT HINDRAF BEING HIJACKED

This Scribe has as early as August 1, 2008 been suspicious that Hindraf has been either hijacked by the BN regime and their agents or was being manipulated to serve the selfish cause of certain individuals. The following are the Blog postings of this Scribe with regards to Hindraf being hijacked and manipulated:

What should HINDRAF do?

I have been asking myself the question "What should Hindraf really do?". I am not talking about yesterday, today or tomorrow but always. These are my views what Hindraf should stand for or do:

(1) It needs to be renamed as INDRAF or Indian Rights Actions Force. We must realise that its not only the Hindus are being sidelined and marginalised but Indians as whole be it hindu, sikh, christian, muslim, Buddhist etc. Therefore INDRAF should represent all Indians even the ones who come from India to work here.

Difference between Chinese and Indian

Here comes another "valuable" incident for ALL INDIAN to seriously think where is our unity and why we are ill treated by other races.
Umno branch leader in Penang called the chinese as "penumpang" and don't deserve to get equal rights. MCA, GERAKAN & DAP all made strong reaction with couple of police reports(political differnces put a side). PM tried to cover but they did not accept till DPM forced to say sorry and yet they still refuse to accept. We all must have remember what happen in TPG school few weeks back, history teacher made racist remark on indians,
1) no testicals
2) children of prostitute

A feeble attempt to break up HINDRAF

Here is a blog I had written earlier. Because the issue has resurfaced significantly I put it up again, now.

An attempt to break up HINDRAF –
6th July 2008

When an organization emerges that is able to challenge status quo, the normal reaction from those challenged is to try and break up the organization and kill off the opposition posed by the organization in this manner.

Several events since the arrest of the 5 HINDRAF leaders seem to suggest a similar process at work against HINDRAF.

Questions being raised to sow confusion

The type of questions some people are rasing to Waythamoorthy, are exactly the purpose of planting an SB agent in our midst - to sow doubt and confusion. In, fact this is one of the SB's departments.

Let us all refrain from falling prey to this and to keep faith with Waythamoorthy as he is the one who has been with Hindraf all along and has sacrificed much since the days when it was not exactly fashionable to be associated with Hindraf. In fact there was so much fear in those days. He and Uthayakumar gallantly spearheaded the movement against the might of the state, I daresay, alone with a few ardent supporters.

The SB agents usually come along afterwards to destroy all of that..

On this point alone, it is incumbent on all of us to keep faith with Waythamoorthy.

Hindraf chief's bombshell: ISA detainee a SB agent

Athi Veeranggan | Aug 29, 08 4:36pm
Detained Hindraf leader T Vasanthakumar is allegedly a government agent planted by the police Special Branch to infiltrate and disintegrate the Hindu rights movement.

MCPXIn a shocking disclosure, Hindraf self-exiled leader P Waythamoorthy also accused the organisation’s former spiritual advisor M Ramachandran, also known as Ramaji, and ex-secretary VK Regu of collaborating with Vasanthakumar.

“Their mission is to split Hindraf, then pick up the pieces, re-brand and re-launch it under their leadership, which would be subservient to the establishment,” said Waythamoorthy in a statement to Malaysiakini.

Let`s define the word, Hindraf`s `Divine Struggle`

The word struggle carries a deep meaning. It is not just a forward movement against obstacles but it is a process of development for the birth of something totally new. Struggle is a long process which entails much hardship and requires a lot of patience, courage, boldness, sacrifices and of course purity in our intentions.

Please practice our cultural values !

After seeing the poll result for our deepavali celebrating , I got to know that majority of the voters are willing to sacrifice the celebration and many voters who want to celebrate it in a moderate way. I was put in a shocked and surprised stage after seeing the voters having thoughts of celebrating deepavali in a moderate way for the sake of preserving our culture. WOW! I never thought , our indian brothers and sisters are keen in preserving our culture! It is a good start to create a valuable society.

Old `Indian Crab` mentality used to split Indians in Penang? New `Indian Crab`mentality will not allow it!

Let me tell you an incident that happened to myself and Indian Club in my school during my higher secondary studies somewhere in 1985 . We were about 100 indian students and we had a very beautiful Indian Club. At the begining we were very united and were excelling with many wonderful activities. Then came two boys from another school to my school. These two boys started all the problems. Suddenly there was a slight misunderstanding among the president of the club and the boys whom I will brand them as rowdys. None of the teachers in my school like these boys. They were so well known for their roughness and rudeness. This group of boys made so much of disturbance and nuisance just to ruin this beautiful Indian Club.

Indian marginalising Indians

We are talking about Indians being marginalised by BN, MIC and all. Do we really know what is going on? These are views and comments from many of my friends.

(1) Who is really marginalising us?

Beyond 16 Sept (STOP PAYING TAX) ???

As mentioned by PWM that our only hope to get the 5 ISA detainees out are currently on Pakatan Rakyat MP's that once they seize the federal government all ISA detainees will be released, though Dato Seri Anwar is still very optimistic on the date (16 Sept) he believes the power shift will happen but I assume most of us are not convinced especially after looking at the dirty tricks played by UMNO/BN. Now the question is what is our next course of action in case Sept 16 happened to be not "OUR" day. What are HINDRAF's plans then ..................

240 days unlawful detention! Freedom Is Nearing...

13th December 2007

Today counts as 240 days Hindraf 5 under unlawful detention ! They were detained under dracanion law called ISA just for arrogant BN UMNO`s own political benefits. The number 240 shows the depth of sacrifices by our Hindraf 5 brothers for our community in this country. The same number 240 shows the depth of karmas or sins gathered by BN UMNO`s politician.
The great day will come soon for our heroes to get the freedom . The sinful people who create this hardship situation will be punished by GOD. The freedom is nearing and we shall remain united to achieve our goals.
A big salute for all our brothers who have scarified their freedom for us. GOD BLESS YOU AND HINDRAF.

no water gun or tear gas???

whats going on ???
there is no water gun or tear gas to the malay people who are campaigning front the bar council and the fru stay static withou taking any action??
wHen hindraf having PEACEFUL RALLY there is water gun and tear gas...

pm we want the answer...!!!!

MAKKAL SAKTHI...

My thoughts about Bar Council`s Conversion Forum

Well aware that Bar Council is now split into two groups. One is seeking for independent, justice and of course fair trial. Another group is following the current arrogant federal government’s index finger. The scenario is showing as though people are now more alert to discriminations and want equal opportunities in the form of fair trial/justice.
Our federal constitutions are saying that, everyone in our country is free to practice and apply their religion in their daily life. But due to some selfish politicians, this freedom in religion has been manipulated by them just for their own political benefits.

Shall We Help Our Community Or Live As A Selfish Person In This Community!

hi all brothers and sisters,
we are fully aware that we are the individuals who are now carrying the Hindraf struggle on our shoulders. Each of us has to fight for our rights and bring the pride back to our community. This is not an easy task. It needs a lot of patience, sacrifices, tolerance and etc.
As a Malaysian Indian, we need to learn to live with community and for community. In order to achieve that, we need to throw away our silly thoughts about differs in caste, religion and mother tongue. We need to obtain high class mentality to guide and educate our younger generations.

Report on the first annual Jalur Gemilang launching ceremony in Brickfields

Hindraf waits on Pakatan promises but still backs it
Sambulingam wants more done by Pakatan Rakyat for Tamil schools.
By Shannon Teoh, The Malaysian Insider
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 — The Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf), frustrated at the slow pace of Pakatan Rakyat's promises to help poor Indians, hopes the federal opposition would do more to fulfill its election manifesto.

Interim leaders, speaking at its first annual Jalur Gemilang launching ceremony here today, urged Malaysian Indians to continue the struggle for equality despite the loss of its top leadership and lack of tangible change after helping to wrest four states from the Barisan Nasional.

WE HAVE TO BE PATIENT

For 50 long years including the last 30 years under Samyvellu and his MIC, the Indians virtually kept their mouths shut. They
did not rebel, speak up or demonstrate and many of them still blindly follow Samyvellu in spite of the fact that he has betrayed the Indians, stole from the Indians and cheated them outright.

But today the Indians are impatient and want everything to be done immediately. They are pushing Pakatan Indians Leaders to accomplish the impossible. Pakatan Indian Leaders have just taken over; they are in power for less than 4 months now but there are already signs of change. It is only fair they be given at least one year to achieve what we expect of them. They have to slowly make the changes so not to anger other races after all the other races also voted for them.
